about

"Ban pas'un ròndu" is an album consisting of
mostly traditional children's songs from Curaçao, performed by the island's best musicians. Curaçao's music is truly a testimony to the creolisation that happened in the Americas, blending cultures of the greater Caribbean, Latin-America, Africa and Europe. Almost all of the songs are sung in the island's native Papiamento language, a language with Portuguese origins similar to Cape-Verdean creole.
